Five of six vendors on our ledger describe a trust center, and four publish something about questionnaire automation by plan. Vanta publishes the largest allowance, 144 a year on Professional; Sprinto includes 20 a year on Foundation; Secureframe puts automation on Complete.

Why do trust features matter after SOC 2?
A SOC 2 report answers many security questions, but customers still send questionnaires, and sales teams still field requests for the report. A trust center lets prospects see your posture and request documents under NDA. Questionnaire automation drafts answers from your controls. Both reduce the load on whoever answers security reviews.

Vanta includes a Trust Center on every plan, adds Questionnaire Automation at 25 a year on Plus and 144 a year on Professional, and an advanced Trust Center on Professional. Scytale's Trust Center is pre-filled from compliance data, and its AI questionnaire answers are reviewed by a human expert; it does not publish an allowance. Drata includes Trust Center Standard and AI Questionnaire Assistance Standard on Foundation and sells a separate Assurance platform with Trust Center tiers. Sprinto includes a public trust center with a custom domain and 20 AI questionnaires a year on Foundation. Secureframe includes a Trust Center on Fundamentals and questionnaire automation on Complete. Thoropass does not describe a trust center or questionnaire product on the pages we reviewed.
How should you size the allowance?
Count the questionnaires your team answered in the last year and add expected growth. If the number is above the plan allowance, ask what the next tier costs or how overage is handled. If the vendor publishes no allowance, ask for it in writing.
Who should review AI answers?
Someone who knows your controls. Scytale describes human expert review of AI answers; Vanta describes AI suggestions. Vendor claims about acceptance rates or time saved, such as Scytale's '85% faster' and Vanta's '95% acceptance rate', are theirs, not ours.
How does this affect the ranking?

What does a useful trust center include?
Current report types and certifications with their dates, a summary of key controls such as access, encryption, monitoring and incident response, policy documents or summaries, a subprocessor list, and a request flow for the SOC 2 report under NDA. Pages fed from live compliance data stay current with less effort, which is the approach Scytale describes for its pre-filled Trust Center.
What if the vendor publishes no allowance?
Scytale, Drata and Thoropass publish no questionnaire allowance. That is not the same as having no feature: Scytale and Drata both describe questionnaire features. Ask for the allowance in the quote, how it is counted (per questionnaire or per question), and what happens when you go over it.
How should a sales-heavy team weigh this?
If security reviews are slowing deals, raise the trust weight in the calculator; Five SOC 2 buyer profiles, run through our calculator runs that profile. If reviews are rare, a trust center on the entry plan is usually enough, and the weight can stay low.
Where do trust features sit in the price?
Trust features are often split across plans. Vanta's questionnaire allowance grows from 25 a year on Plus to 144 on Professional, and the advanced Trust Center is on Professional. Secureframe's questionnaire automation is on Complete, which is quote only. Drata sells a separate Assurance platform with its own Trust Center tiers. When you compare quotes, list which trust features each quote includes rather than assuming they match the demo.
